Beautiful location. Having the ocean across the street was incredible. The Wi-Fi was very weak in our room, which when staying in such a beautiful location would not be a priority for us, except a major storm was hitting the east coast and it made it extremely hard to stay up with weather alerts and information from our airline. It is truly a beautiful location.

The inn was a beautiful place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We slept well during our stay. The ocean view was really nice. We saw wild turkeys and a beaver on the grounds during our stay. There are many areas to explore on the property. Our host was very informative . He gave us several brochures about the property and surrounding area when we checked in. The breakfasts that we had were outstanding! It is a wonderful place to stay.

We booked this because we had a wedding to attend nearby. The description on Expedia was a buffet breakfast which was not the case. Somehow I only booked for my husband and I, but we also have 3 children. Once we arrived I was told it is an extra $50 for breakfast per person. It was too late to cancel so I paid the extra $150. I later got a text that they gave us a discounted price of $35 per person for the kids breakfast. While I did appreciate this, it was not a buffet. We got a slice of spice cake and eggs Florentine with toast, The food was ok but it is not something my children would eat. I wish there had been alternative options or the buffet that is listed on Expedia. When traveling with kids these things are important in deciding on a place to stay, it felt misleading.

The people at Acadia were simply the best. Kind, courteous and helpful are the top 3 words that come to mind, but there are many others that could be used to describe the excellent service. The inn is situated at the head of a small bay and the beach and rocks are a pleasure to walk or just sit and enjoy he view. We highly recommend the his quiet, quaint and quality place to visit.
