"When I was preparing to book a hotel I noticed some fairly poor reviews for the Fireside Inn along with a lot of very positive ones, so I took the chance.
So glad that I did!!!
From the moment I arrived every interaction with the staff was positive. There was always somebody at the desk and they were always glad to help.
The facility itself isn't new, but they keep it up well. It was clean and everything worked. The amenities were beyond what they advertised or that I expected. Yes, there is a Keurig machine in every room, but they also have a 24 hour beverage bar with coffees, teas, and even cold brew and lattes. The pool and hot tub were spotless and in perfect order. Outdoors they have an abundance of activities on the property. They even have a collection of books and games available if you needed an indoor time filler. They maintain a selection of snacks, beverages, and breakfast items for sale at reasonable prices.
My room was as advertised with two queen beds available, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig machine and a good sized television. I only with the the chair for the table was a bit higher and easier to move, a small gripe. Wifi service was excellent. The two things that caught my eye when I was choosing a hotel were the views and the fireplace. The view of the bay was stunning, and the fireplace offered a special touch to the room. Room service was daily and left the room in spotless condition.
