"I booked a room with a window and I was given a basement room that stunk of cigarette smoke and two tiny windows (30cms x 30cms) either side of a bulkhead. The windows let in dust and dirt from the street and also cigarette smoke from people smoking outside. When I mentioned that I had booked a room with a window, I was shown a 2/F room that should have been the one I booked but was told that I had to pay an extra 100 bucks. No thank you! The aircon worked well and the shower was nice with good pressure and hot water but the room needed a little refurbishment. Definitely not what I expected. The smoke was horrendous. My guess is that it had gotten into everything (bed, covers, cushions, curtains so it's difficult to get rid of the smell unless you rip everything out. "
