"Palm Court restaurant awesome, best waiters especially Keith M who took such great care of me and my colleagues! I brought 5 new people to the Benson over 2 weeks because I loved it so much and they wanted to see it. Spacious rooms, great carpet, lots of blankets, everything fresh and new. Very friendly staff always at the front desk. "

"I wanted my girlfreind and 1 to visit the hotel and see if any paranormal activity would occur. at one point in the evening I went into the restroom and a text from her asked if i were crying? I replyed no and asked why the strange question? she said please dont take long, I hear a man wimpering and crying in the room. So strange sounds and noises happen alot here and I shall return at some time in the future. thanks for the memories"

"Really fun stay. We booked here because we liked the fun and funky design choices. The room was as advertised and it was clean and comfortable. Downsides: 1) the shower faucet handle was broken and there was some back and forth to getting it fixed. 2) the breakfast was pretty limited and unimpressive for $15 a plate. 3) the location was maybe a bit rougher than some of the equivalent hotels we looked at. "This hotel is a hidden gem in the middle of a busy area in Portland. The room was very clean, with a great city view, comfortable beds, and great bathroom amenities. The rooftop restaurant had a variety of foods and drinks, with a nice happy hour menu and spectacular views of the city. The price is very reasonable for the hotel and the restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would stay here again!"

"Book ahead and paid 100% Valet parking $60/night or park a block away and risk your car getting broken into. Losers charged the $60 plus an additional $35 for service fees, plus $11 for what. So $106 plus $5 tip. "
