We had a great stay at Beaches! When we first got there, I was nervous. The property is rundown (not 5* as they claim). We stayed in Caribbean which I knew was the worst village. The glass doors all had fingerprints all over them. That's the first sign to me that something isn't clean! We got to the room and were pleasantly surprised. It was older and some things need to be replaced, but it was clean and there was plenty of room for our family of 4. We tried a bunch of the restaurants during our stay and liked almost all of them. The silent disco was a blast. We did the snorkeling excursion which was great. We hired the guy right outside the aqua center for parasailing and loved that too, although it was cut very short due to incoming rain and we still had to pay full price. It is very nice to not have to carry around tip money and for everything to be included. I asked the staff and they all said they are treated very well and that it's the best place to work, which makes me feel better about how expensive it is. I really hope they are paid well because they work so hard to keep us tourists happy! Overall, I would say it is rundown in many places so go to the nicer sections, try the different restaurants, and enjoy the beautiful island!

Pros: nice room, dinners were good, beautiful beach Cons: 5 star price…3 star service. Island time is definitely a thing, and that’s okay unless you want to charge premium prices. Took 40 minutes to get a shuttle to one of the villages, while the whole time an empty shuttle was sitting out front, but no one would take it (even though it worked). 1.5 hour wait to one of the restaurants for 2 people that had multiple open tables, when I inquired about it, they said they were being held, but they explicitly told us no holds or reservations. Some of the staff were awesome, but as a whole most seemed disinterested with a “not my job” attitude. Overall: if you have young kids, probably a great place. Lots of pools, great beach and several things geared towards children. If you have teenagers or no kids and expect service comparable to the price tag, stay somewhere else.

Spa and pools were nice. Each a different temperature. However, tiles need fixing or replacing including grout. Room not fully stocked with towels. Floor not mopped in a few days. Food was average except for one quiet restaurant which cooked food by our diet and awesome Chef came out to see if we liked everything twice. She was awesome. Head Chef was an incredible. You could meet and make dietary requests. Jerk chicken truck, beaches grounds awesome. I feel that it was lacking in value overall.

Just returned from our week long stay at Beaches TCI. We loved our time there, however just a couple of bumps to recognize. It room was beautiful but shower curtain smelt of mildew. Once we brought it to housekeeping attention it was replaced immediately. Resort it very large so took a bit to get acclimated. Was an effort for someone to actually give us a printed layout of the resort but someone did find one. We figured there would be more information on the resort and itineraries, shows. activities, food. etc but really had to search for information throughout resort. We did our homework online so wasn't as bad as it could have been if we hadn't. Staff was extremely pleasant. We were in French village so couldn't see beach from our room. Beautiful pool and garden view though. Bottles of wine in room didn't get replaced when empty. Needed to ask. Coffee want that great. One amazing cup of cafe latte at Cafe but all others were not very good. Mixed drinks seemed to be on the weak side. Very family oriented. Excellent programs for children and lots of families so if looking for adult resort comfort might want to choose adult only resort. Food was absolutely amazing!!! Every single party of it. Top notch cuisine!!

Have never been happier to get home from a trip. Staff inattentive and not helpful at all. Room was dirty and full of mosquitos. Dining options super limited and mediocre at best. Restaurants have limited hours and routinely waited at least 30 minutes (usually closer to an hour) to get a table. Have never experienced such slow service at every single meal. One lunch that sticks out- waited 45 min for a table, another 30 minutes to order, and another 45 minutes for the food to arrive (a salad and tacos) that I saw had been ready and sitting ready to be served for 30 minutes. And after all of that, there was a missing dish from my order. Staff just standing around chatting. Another meal was sat in direct sun and hostess just walked away before I could ask for a seat in the shade. Had already been to the buffet and sat for awhile and no one ever came to offer water or ask for drinks. Property was jam packed and spent most of my time trying to find somewhere to sit by the pool or ocean, but all the families and kids claim all the chairs by (no joke) 7 am so the whole pool deck is chairs covered with towels by people who may or may not show up. Property super run down and amenities seem like the originals from the late 90s early 00s. Cannot believe how poor quality every last thing was for the price- complete waste of my vacation time and money. Would have left after the first night but couldn’t get a different flight out.

Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful! The food was excellent. More updates to the older rooms would be nice.

Staff is not friendly and the restaurants consist in small buffets spread throughout the property instead of make a big buffet at the beach and inland. The rooms were spectacular.

The resort itself was lovely. The beach was beautiful. Loved how kid friendly it was even tho my kids are teenagers already. The staff were friendly but not next level. The food was pretty good but twice our girls got their orders & we were either forgotten about or they just didn’t make it as we didn’t get ours. No apology just shrugged shoulders. The housekeeping staff were fantastic. We found that the butlers clashed with the wait staff at restaurants to the point that it became uncomfortable. All of the activity staff were incredible! Been to many many all inclusive resorts & this one has potential but it just wasn’t a huge win for us.

Staff so happy and friendly, not always able to understand them. Huge resort so many places to retreat to no matter what you wanted. Beautiful gatdens and pools. The beach and sand were perfection.

The respect is nice - I have notice the customer service is very dry and rude in many cases. I felt like an inconvenience to some employees. I am hoping that can improve. Overall, many we very nice on the other hand so it was not an overall aspect for the resort.

Husband and daughter both got food poisoning which ruined our trip. Read that many others have had the same experience here. Beach is beautiful. Food is average. No drink or food service on the beach. No room service. We even had a conceive room.
