"The Ellery is a fabulous hotel. Located just a short distance from Commercial Street, it is peaceful and quiet yet accessible to all the shops and restaurants. Paul greeted us and actually gave us a free upgrade! He really cares about the hotel and the people who stay there. He also let use a separate parking space as the other spots were taken. "We were always greeted with polite and courteous staff. The complimentary breakfast was up the street a little ways and their sister inn, Crowne Point. The room was very small but affordable and cozy. The jacuzzi was working on our first night's stay and it was very relaxing."

"This was not as described. The room was in the very last floor of a walk up, two or three flights of stairs. In addition, the bed is in the attic going up another set of stairs, with not enough headroom and very close to the ledge of the stair case. The place is very small and look like an old dormitory. Listing shows a private hot tub. But that is a misleading advertisement. There is only a standing shower.
