"Rooms are comfortable and generally clean, food and drinks are good, but the property is VERY old and outdated. Staff is very inconsistent, ranging from welcoming to just out right rude! Bar Palma has a wonderful and friendly bartender, but the breakfast receptionist (can't call her a host:/), at the resteraunt seemed irritated each morning of our stay, she was rude, rolled her eyes at us and made us feel very uncomfortable to eat breakfast during our stay of 5 days!! "

The hallways could be a bit cleaner, and the lobby would benefit from stronger air conditioning since it tends to feel warm. Overall, it is a practical and well-located hotel for business travel in Escazú, with comfortable rooms and good value, though the common areas could use some improvement."
