"The property had great character. It’s a very old building and therefore access would be difficult if you’re unsteady on your feet. Taxis won’t drive down to the front of the guest house so we had to pull our suitcases up the cobbled hill to the Main Street. Staff were excellent. Great communication and helped us book a taxi and staff called us to check it had arrived and we were ok. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There were free hot drinks and a kitchen if you would like...

"We arrived about 7pm to be told we had no room even though I had a confirmation of the booking. Was repeatedly hung up on and my calls also ignored. Veliko was very busy and we would've been without a room for the night had a local old lady not overheard our problems and offered to help us find a bed for the night - thankfully she spoke English! Do not recommend as this is totally unacceptable service and very worrying for people...
