"Everything was really clean and the staff was amazing - very friendly! Not a motel with amenities like a fridge or coffeemaker but it was comfy, safe and clean and that’s what I was looking for."

"Some things are wearing out, such as the outlets, which are so worn that they don't permit good contact with the plug. They just need to be replaced. Other than that and some well-worn carpeting, the hotel is clean and very quiet."
"Awesome property perched above the beautiful river. Our room had a wood burning stove and back porch, which we enjoyed. It was also really nice that the lodge offered a shuttle that would drive down the steep path that leads to the river bank near the lodge to give you a ride back up if needed, which a few people in my party really appreciated. We did not eat on property but they have a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again."
"This cabin exceeded every expectation — the pictures simply don’t capture how charming and comfortable it really is. The bed was incredibly cozy, the coffee provided was top‑notch, and every detail in the cabin made it feel like a true retreat. We had everything we needed and felt instantly at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seward."
"We were just here one night but we both agreed we would have been happy with multiple nights. The room was clean and updated. The staff is responsive to texts. Had a nice kitchen and the bathroom was a decent size for two people. Parking was easy and plentiful. Very convenient to Exit Glacier and close enough to town."
"Excellent location, well maintained older property. Charming with great staff and located a stone's throw from adorable, quirky shops and restaurants"
"Great place! Very nice staff and very responsive. The heater in our room wasn’t working and they swapped it out no problem. Place was clean and nice."
"This is in a convenient location if you're visiting the Seward/Kenai Fjords area. The views around the property are stunning! We stayed in a twin room and it was VERY basic and outdated. It reminded us of staying at old family cabins back in the 80s. We were on a budget and found it kind of charming and nostalgic. Internet service did not work consistently and we got the best service sitting outside on the porch. Our twin room only had one electrical outlet near the beds and it was high up and difficult to reach for my husband to plug in his CPAP machine. We loved the drinks and the food at the bar/restaurant. We would go back just for the roasted brussel sprouts!"
"Family owned and run. Hosts are available and very helpful. The property is beautiful and well thought out, comfortable , clean, and warm. Definitely recommend."
