Very quaint and peaceful place - great for climbing the Schneeberg Mountain and relaxing in the spa after. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was a lack of a la cart options for dinner, forcing you to pay a lot for either set menus or buffets. Unfortunately there was not anything else around except fried and not so great Austrian food. Otherwise great stay and special thanks to the amazing bartender :)

old world charm

The hotel was well situated by the train station to get to Vienna as well as to the train to go up and down the first large mountain of the Alps. The town of Puchberg is very old worldly - a Kur - Cure- resort since centuries ago. The air was fresh and lovely. The hotel was quiet, the staff were considerate and helpful, and the spa area relaxing.

Schöne Wellness-Anlage, sehr schöne Umgebung mit hohem Freizeitwert. Das Ausleihen eines Mountainbikes war unkompliziert möglich.

ウィーンから近い高原ホテル

ウィーンから車で2時間ほどの登山電車の出発する町のホテル。ただし4月27日から開通とのことで確認せずに行きガッカリ。ホテルは結構いい値段なので部屋も食事もとても良い。夕食付きを頼んだが一応フルコース。このホテルにはサウナ-プール等もあり、サウナ用のタオルが部屋に準備してあった。この地方では珍しくミニバーの冷蔵庫があった。トイレとシャワーが別々の部屋なのはいいが、シャワー室の壁が透明ガラスなのはちょっと…。

Nettes Hotel aber 4 Sterne sind genug, der Gesamteindruck ist gut, halt ein moderneres Hotel in einer rustikalen Gegend, etwas rustikaler der Gegend angepasst waere netter.. na ja und gutespersonal ist halt rar, Getraenkebestellung beim Candel light dinner: ich bestelle ein Bier, ich wurde gefragt welches, ich sage mir eigentlich egal und das die Kellnerin mir erklaert haette welches Bier sie hat sagte die nur ihr sei es auch egal, ungeschult halt

Beautiful place

The stay was great. The food was amazing, the staff helpful, and the area was beautiful. My only problem was the bed and bedding, but that seems to be European norms vs American, as we have run into the exact same thing through Austria and the Czech republic. The bed was hard and the pillows rather flat. They did get us a second set of pillows when we asked, but it was tough the first night.
