Great beds, very helpful staff, short walk to mall and other shops. We had dinner and breakfast there and we were very happy with the options, they even had a gluten free area for the breakfast service. We needed connected rooms and the staff was very good at sorting it out.

Cumbres is beautifully located in Puerto Varas and has a superb view of Osorno. Service is great and the breakfast outstanding.

Fantastic hotel. I would come back in a minute if I were coming back to Puerto Varas. Views of lake and volcanos unparalleled. Service perfect. Pleasant friendly knowledgable staff. Best hotel breakfast I have EVER seen, Well located. Well situated. Two minor quibbles. This is an older hotel so it's understandable, but there are no plugs or USBs by the bed side tables. Also the door key mechanisms are VERY finicky and we got stuck out a couple times and had to go to the front desk to get another key.

In our way from Puerto Montt AirPort to our farm, we always stop in Puerto Varas to spend a night and this hotel is the best one so far

Hotel Cumbres
This was an unexpectedly amazing hotel. The architecture is older, as is the surroundings of Puerto Vargas, but the hotel was updated and extremely comfortable. Cozy beds, lovely room with a lake front view, really nice lounge area, welcoming spa where amenities were available such as sauna, and good gym. Best of all was the free breakfast - so many choices for all diets. They would also make specialized omelets upon request at no charge. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Awesome view from our room, but definitely not 5*
It’s a lakefront and central hotel, near good restaurants. Breakfast wasn’t extraordinary, very basic. Staff were helpful. The room was large, clean and a good size bathroom, but it lacked magnifying mirror, and the dispensers make it cheap.

This property has been described as five stars but it’s three at best. The views from the hotel are amazing but the property is extremely dated and that Lowe’s the place to three stars. The furniture must be 20 years old in the room and technology has passed this place do plugs are not convenient. The breakfast is lackluster. The coffeee machines kept breaking down so there were always lines. The lounge with the fireplace is awesome but they don’t have enough waiters most evenings. The front desk was not helpful at all. When we asked to get local information about activities they told us to scan a QR code. Water pressure was very low under the premise of being eco friendly. The place is ok but don’t expect anything more than an average stay in a stunning location.

Excelente paseo y estadia
Fue una estadía maravillosa, el sitio esplendido, y en general todo el hotel superagradable, la vista desde las habitaciones, la estancia en el lobby en las tardes disfrutando d euna bebida o un cafe, escuchando musica al lado de una chimenea fue muy grato. Seguro regresaria con gusto.

En general todo bien, pero tuvimos un problema con nuestro primer día de atención en el bar, con la atención de Anita Rivero. Nos trato súper mal, y al pedirle cosas, nos evitaba, en un momento se molestó tanto (no le dijimos nada para que se molestara, solo le pedimos que nos avisara si se desocupaba una mesa) que pateo una de las puertas del bar, después que nosotros encontramos una mesa, nos dijo que levantemos nosotros mismos nuestros vasos y platos y que nos alejemos porque el líquido tiene cloro…todo mal…obviamente después nos siguió evitando…y lo otro es que reservamos una habitación con dos camas matrimoniales y nos dieron con una y no nos querían ayudar porque “no les avisaron” pero después por suerte nos ayudó el supervisor que fue encantador y super servicial.
