"I spent a week comparing hotels and, despite my skepticism, (it just looked too good and affordable to be true) so I booked this one for a single night — and I was pleasantly surprised. "Hotel Murano is centrally located close to theater, museum and restaurants. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. The main lobby and conference needs a makeover ~ carpets and sofa's showed considerable wear. The hotel is currently working on renovations. The lounge and restaurant were extremely noisy with hammering and sawing during our visit. Once finished it will be a big improvement to the hotel. I will definitely return when visiting the Tacoma area."

"Upon checking in we were told that the AC was not working but we would be able to open the window and could have a fan for the room. We had already paid for our room so we continued with the booking. We get up to our room and the window are screwed shut. We call and maintained comes and opens it for us to quickly realize that we are right next to a train which is unbearably loud. It was too hot in the room even with the fan and window open for us. Staff was really nice and never showed...

"This is a budget hotel with excellent staff. No coffeemaker in the room, but free coffee in the lobby every morning. No pool, no free breakfast. The place was very clean, and every employee was helpful. The room is simple, and done in a way that is easy to clean. The flooring looks like vinyl plank, so it can be mopped. So much better than a questionable carpet. The comfortable bed has no boxspring, but instead is a very thick mattress on a high frame, so you can see right under it and see...

"Pros: bed comfortable, looked clean, fridge, microwave, quiet at night. Cons: pool was closed! old bathroom, dingy, chipped porcelain , no shampoo/conditioner, only a tiny bar of soap, no bedside lamp, no coffee maker, floor turned my socks black when walking around, microwave didn’t turn and never got a remote that worked the tv in 2 days. Place is fine if you want cheapest stay but def no extras."
