Masseria Valentina was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Spectacular place for a stay away from home. Artistically furnished rooms. Friendly staff and great breakfast. The restaurant food could serve down-to-earth food - simple well-cooked Italian food rather than aim at fine dining.

A beautiful place to escape for a few days, set in olive groves. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the quality of the evening meals was excellent.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a lovely feel and really friendly helpful staff. Our room looked to have been recently refurbished and was a comfortable space to stay. The stand out features of the hotel were the pool (a lot bigger that we were anticipating and we had it to ourselves a lot of the time!) and the restaurant for dinner - definitely try it.

Stunning setting with a fantastic pool area, staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and although they didn’t state on their menus that there are kids options, as they are published that evening when the chef has completed it, they do. The kids both had chicken schnitzel and chips, but could have had pasta also among other options. Hard to find as Expedia don't give enough info, but contact owner direct and they will provide location details. It is different to staying in your average hotel room. Cool temperature wise inside and quite compact. Could do with comfier seating. The owners hosted a great meal one evening which is reasonably priced. The food just kept coming. The 2 bedrooms apartment was very spacious, adequate equipment in the kitchen. Pool and grounds are lovely. Staff very helpful and responded to issues very quickly. Breakfast was pleasant. 15 minutes drive to nice beach coves south of Monopoli. Good value for money, would definitely stay there again

We received a warm welcome on checking in. Everything was clearly explained and details given regarding places to eat and sights to see in the town. The room was spacious and pleasing to the eye. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Next morning the breakfast was supberb. Beautiful setting once there. You have to go to a large gate and ring to let you in and then easy to park securely . The wine made there is really excellent and fairly priced. The olive oil is also great. We bought 3 litres! The staff were really helpful and Italian or English is fine. There was no menu option in the restaurant as it was quiet when we stayed.
