"Unexpected late check-in fee with no prior disclosure. We arrived at the hotel a little after 9 PM on Tuesday, August 11. At around 8:20 PM, while we were still on the way, we called the hotel to request an extra blanket. We also told them we were still driving and would arrive in about 40 minutes. "Loved the old world ambience of this hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our evening meals as well. I did miss air conditioning as it was very warm weather when we stayed here but the fan did help. Staff were very welcoming and helpful."
