"The Literary Man was one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was so fun to explore the grounds, both inside and out, and our room was very good sized and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was top notch for a European style breakfast, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating."

We loved to stay inside the walls, but parking outside the walls was a challenge with dragging luggage’s over a long bumpy road. Not for the faint of heart."

"Very basic simple hotel. Impecably clean, well maintained. The breakfast is ok. I think for the price it is a really good deal. I walked to the beach. The hotel is located in a very local neighborhood and although not super closecto the beach it is a walkable distance. I got lost, without battery on my phone and the person at the reception was super helpful."

"Terrific hotel, right in the center of Obidos! Staff was wonderful and helpful and you are a short walk to the center of the castle in the old town. The view from our room was the spectacular site of the castle walls lit up at night and a church off to the right! Buffet breakfast was large and plentiful. The evening reception was very nice as well. The hotel itself is like a mini museum. We enjoyed walking around and looking in all the nooks and crannies. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the...
