"Lovely hotel resort-spotlessly clean. We had a studio which was very spacious with a very large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It was the best of both worlds- I like an apartment and my friend who I travelled with prefers a hotel so we opted for the studio ( which was like an apartment) with breakfast as an extra .The breakfast was excellent ( good choice of gluten free items ) and you could get lunch / dinner if required . "The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. "Fijne accommodatie, vriendelijk personeel, ruim appartement, eten lekker en voldoende variatie, 2 zwembaden, waarvan het kleine verwarmd is, het grote koud, brrr... enig minpuntje, weinig ligzetels. "Great stay at Laguna resort, which is a quiet and relaxing retreat on the outskirts of Vilamoura. Taxi to the marina is around €6, excluding tip. You could walk although it’s about 30mins in the heat. Limited dining options on the resort but plenty within a short taxi ride. Villa cleaned 6 days (Sunday off), downside was the hot tub is not operational and top level unusable, also patio area could have been cleaner.
