"This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible. "Clean room, amazing staff! The perfect room for after a stay at Corcovado Sirena. The bed was so very comfortable, cozy. For future guests, I’ve learned over the past few weeks that 90% of the showers in Costa Rica are a little different than what many people from the US and GB are accustomed to. It’s mostly room temperature water that comes out but there is some sort of heating element. I wish someone had warned me. My recommendation is get used to it, it’s still a great shower.
