"I am shocked that the Inn at the Beach has 9.8 stars. The location was the best feature, close to the beach and walkable to downtown.
We arrived to a room filled with black hair all over the bathroom, a cockroach on the floor, and a smell that lasted the whole weekend. We politely told the front desk and they re-cleaned the room but there was still black hair everywhere. We were told the reason for the smell was the sprinklers were on earlier in the day. "What a great hotel!! We stayed in a water view room with full to the floor windows.
Amazing views, including sunset.
The main pool was huge. Lots of areas to relax and swim in. Many chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The poolside service was great as well.
Good restaurant choices including a restaurant food court.
So happy it’s now a Hilton property so I can rack up Hilton Honors points in a beautiful hotel.
We definitely will be coming back!"

"Chose to stay there because is close to the hospital I work couple times a week, but did not enjoy the stay at all, mattress was horrible, could feel the metal springs on them did not rest at all, shower rags were disgusting” yellowish color” shower curtain with mold on them."
