"This place is a new found little slice of heaven for my husband and I. We found the place soooo relaxing and in the perfect location. The beach here is private. Even though there were people who ignored the signs, it was still way less crowded than Nokomis Public Beach. We had a beachside efficiency closest to the beach (#17), literally steps away from touching the sand. The property managers are so warm and friendly and always greeted us with a smile when they were working around the property. While the property is old, our room was very modernly appointed with nice appliances, updated bathroom, flooring, and furniture. They take good care of this little gem! Lastly, the sunsets here are breathtaking if you appreciate that kind of thing (how can you not??) We will DEFINITELY be back here for many visits, I’m sure!"

"I stayed at Sunseeker Resort this past week and unfortunately, the experience was far from what you would expect from a property of this caliber. Upon arrival, we were assigned a “bay view” room that actually overlooked the parking garage. After going back and forth with the front desk and concierge, it became clear there was confusion on their end about our reservation, and we had to switch rooms. This set the tone for the stay — disorganized and not guest-focused. Prior to arrival, I had reached out multiple times requesting a room with a balcony, and that request was never honored or even acknowledged upon check-in. Communication across the board felt inconsistent and dismissive. The room itself had serious issues. The bathroom sinks would randomly fluctuate between extremely hot and freezing cold water without warning — to the point where you could easily burn yourself. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s a safety concern. Service throughout the property was equally disappointing. Staff interactions often came across as rude or indifferent, and there was a noticeable lack of accountability when problems were brought up. Simple requests felt like inconveniences to them rather than part of their job in hospitality. Overall, this stay was frustrating and disappointing, and I would not return or recommend it until there are major improvements in both management and service."

"We had a great stay here for spring break. It’s in a great convenient location close to the beach. The staff was very friendly. Amber especially was super friendly and helpful our entire stay. The breakfast was great and better than I had expected. The hotel was clean and the pool and patio area was excellent. "

"The older reviews were scary, but this place has been remodeled. Beds are comfy, as are pillows. Breakfast had a good selection. The pool is decent w a few towels available. The “spa” isn’t a hot tub. The shower has some mold - pink and black, but better than you’d expect at this price. Front desk staff was great. Doors do open to the outside but I felt safe. Lots of highway noise, if you’re a light sleeper. Recliner in room. I’d stay again. "

"We checked in. Went to our room tried to get on and the door would not open. We had our dog with us and we were hot, sweaty and tired. By the look of the hotel, we decided to leave. At the front desk returned the keys and asked for a refund the girl at front desk did the refund. Waiting on the refund on my credit card."
