Hand towel holder next to vanity fell off ( barely attached to wall). Filthy stained carpeting (giant mystery stain between beds). Funky smell. Standard hotel breakfast fare. Staff was helpful and courteous when smoke detector went off for no reason, twice. Front desk at check-in could not tell me what rate difference there was, if any, between...

Unfortunately, our a/c unit kept cycling on and off all night without stabilizing the room, which caused us to lose sleep. In fact, we did not get to sleep at all the first night and felt forced to vacate one day early. Since we had paid our two-day fee in advance, we have not been reimbursed for the second night even though the hotel staff notified us that they filed the 'faulty a/c complaint' as an acceptable...
