"The host met us at the ferry. Explained how to get places and on the last day took us to our excursion. He offered to store our luggage and bring to the ferry later. The place was convenient to everything and clean. I’d stay here again!"

"The apartment was ok very small but it work location great- only thing is be prepared to bring coffee, sugar and all your essentials it was empty normally I leave behind coffee or sugar for the next guess but here clearly nothing is left behind…but overall good experience"

"Upon arrival we left our luggage with the porter at the ferry dock. One of our bags was given to the wrong person. They did eventually find the bag but it was a tense few hours. In addition, the air conditioner did not cool our room. The first evening was awful, the following day maintenance came and tried to fix it. It was better but not great. Other than those two mishaps we loved Hvar and the hotel was fine."

"Beautiful property just a 10-minute walk from Hvar Town and 15min walk to the beach. Beautifully decorated, with a stunning balcony and lovely sea views. The host gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and took the time to point out where the nearby restaurants and beaches were. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Hvar. We would happily stay here again!"

"The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. "

Everything was high tech and top quality, and the location was unbeatable, just steps away from the ferry port and the main attractions in the island. Overall, an outstanding experience in Hvar, and could not recommend Villa Porta Maestra enough."

"This property is true luxury from the private location to how staff accommodates you as a guest. I was not ready to leave. They do not miss a beat from midweek cookies being sent to the room to special touches as we celebrated our anniversary. I will definitely be back. "De hyggeligste ansatte var filippinere. Eller så syns vi at hotellet ikke var så sjarmerende. Maten var alt for mye buffé preget, og ikke noe spesielt god. Alle gjestene og mange av de ansatte var sure, aldri opplevd lignende. Lokasjonen er fin rett ved vannet. Men beach baren kunne være mer koselig og hyggelig, selv om de ansatte der var hyggelige. Det er litt for langt å gå til Vrboska for annen middag, og da er det spesielt dumt at hotellet har dårlig mat. I tillegg skulle det være flere...
