"Hotel Lapad is well located. Although it is not in the Old Town, it is walkable. There are restaurants nearby. Our room faced the water and the hills beyond. "The rooms were comfortable but dated. The room was cleaned daily. The balcony was a small space room for 1 chair. It also was dirty. The hotel rooms need updating they are old. Carpet was worn,dirty,.The reasturant was clean but food not very appealing breakfast was same evey morning and mostly food from following evening. Nice thing was near beach and not far from lapad boardwalk."

"The location is unbeatable, views from the hotel room towards the sea wonderful. Getting in an out from the water was rather easy, several options available. You can enjoy swimming far into the sea. No boats were coming close to the beach. Cruisers were far away. Breakfast excellent, waiters all very kind and helpful with whatever you need. No problem if you need two espresso drinks.
