"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Hesperia during our first trip to mainland Spain, where we were attending a wedding in the region. Before check-in, we were offered a great-value upgrade to a terrace room, and it exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to have the entire corner terrace to ourselves, with beautiful mountain views. It was definitely worth the upgrade! "Lovely location literally 100m from beach, but very disappointed on check in since the room we booked was advertised by a photo of a spacious corner room with three windows. The room we were given was cramped with one window. The safe locked our laptops permanently, requiring a locksmith the retrive the contents. Most staff were helpful and friendly, but not the manager. Breakfast was excellent. "
