"It was clean and well thought after. Bathroom and vanity were situated in the separate space and convenient. The best part was the quality of breakfast! We liked it very much and highly recommend for the ferry passengers and others."

"The hotel room was clean with a quiet corner to sit in and read or lookout at the ocean. It was situated in the Main Street and a short walk to the ocean. There is a lovely ocean front walk as well. The breakfast covered a full range of foods and was well stocked."

As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"What made this property and stay extraordinary was the host. Juliette was so wonderful! She made us an amazing to-order breakfast. She gave us a box to safely travel with a fragile purchase. She got a map and marked it all up for us with recommendations on what to see and where to go on a lovely hike, plus with the scenic route to get there. "My credit card was charged by Expedia when I booked 2 months plus in advance. When I got to the hotel they informed me no payment was received fr the website and I had to pay again. This will be reported."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"The resort is in a nice location and the view from our room was beautiful. However, the room itself is quite run down (stained carpet, chipped furniture, broken blinds). There is no A/C, so the room was very warm in the afternoon and evening. The ceiling fan, and the extra fan the hotel provides, didn’t really help to cool the room down."

"The bedding had poop and blood stains and the brown girl at the desk double charged me. They don’t provide breakfast other then juice and coffee and yogurt and the rooms are dated and musty. I grew up in Duncan and moved to Ontario and travel for work but the standard this place had put the bar in hell and you have to limbo under it. 10/10 do not recommend."
