"I have such mixed feelings about this place. The price is unbelievably affordable for NYC with excellent transport links to get you to the center of Manhattan in no time. The soap in the shower was excellent! Plus the staff - everyone from the security guard to the front desk person to housekeeping were professional and kind. HOWEVER, I don't know if I would recommend staying here. When I arrived music was BLARING from the breakfast/ slash / bar area. I had to shout to be heard by the front...

"Front desk staff is not welcoming. Treat like they are doing a favour to us. Kind of all of them mainly strict . Few is okay. They all need proper customer service training."

"They use downfall pillows in the hotel this causes allergies to people who are allergic to feathers. Also not willing to do a later checkout past 12 even though the hotel wasn’t even close to capacity."

"Front desk lady did not look happy to be working. No customer service. Previous guest hairs on beds. Socks dirty from room floor. Bathroom shower head didn’t work. Had to use a bucket to shower myself using bath faucet. Security guard was very helpful and friendly. Evening front desk man very friendly. Room decor was really nice. I like the wall decor and neon lights. One night stay was okay. More than 2 maybe not. Good location, easy to find. Close to other things."

"I only stayed here for one night. Once I got into the room, I tried to put the deadbolt on the deadbolt does not have anything to connect to so it’s pointless. I went downstairs. "Great location, very friendly staff. However, the first-floor room we stayed in was awful: Windows face the covered patio so no sunlight and no privacy—shades had to stay down, so you're basically staying in a tiny broom closet. AC control panel lights up the room at night. You can hear the subway go by at regular intervals, and we were awoken at 4am by a really loud, jarring jackhammer-type noise. Mentioned this to front desk and in post-stay survey, zero real response other than "so sorry."...
