"Room are small, but that is fine when you travel. The bed is best suited for one or couples. The walk is reasonable from the station roo. Host is also very responsive as we had two back to back reservations and they responded quickly for us to stay in the same room. Would definitely recommend to others."

"Our stay at Shiomachi Roya in Tomonoura was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. I was impressed by the renovations done to turn this old merchant house into an inn. I liked the design and decor. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
