"Very nice breakfast but also busy with lots of people because it is a large resort. We had a nice room overlooking the pool area also with a view of the sea which was nice. There was a strange smell- maybe a cleaning solvent smell— that never went away and detracted from the experience but we spent most of the daytime exploring Dubrovnik so not terrible. Easy 20 minute trip into old town on the bus"

"Pros - upgraded room, location on stunning sunset coast and 15 minute bus service to Old Town Cons - poor choice of snack food during the day and what was available was expensive and not much around the hotel."

"This hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The family that own it are so helpful and kind , they will do everything to accommodate you, with a smile and sincerity that you just don’t find in other hotels. We are coming back in September and look forward to seeing them again. The old time charm of the hotel along with its history are amazing. Highly recommend it !"

"Fantastic location with easy access for swimming. A little confusing to get around the various buildings and levels, but is well marked. Excellent breakfast choices, dinner on the seaside patio was very good. Not close to Old Town, but there is a city bus or taxi to get there (10-15 min)"

"Hotel Uvala was in a great location, close to alot of restaurants. The staff maintain the hotel and property extremely well. The breakfast was good and the buffet dinners were amazing. Unfortunately, information about the hotel amenities or surrounding area was not provided to us upon check-in. Other guests had informed us of the heated indoor pool."

"A lovely place to relax after visiting busy Dubrovnik. Great breakfast; easy to catch the bus into town."

"Really lovely hotel from start to finish. Rooms were very well presented and maintained. Food in the various restaurants we visited on site was of a very high standard and a wide range of offerings was available across the estate. Breakfast was lovely and had a wide variety of food and drink. Views from restaurants and our balcony were superb. The hotel is ideally located right by the coast, but it is also easy to get into the centre of the city by bus or car. Highly recommended."

"If you are looking for seclusion then this island stays is for you. Staff ultra friendly helpful. Rooms are adequate and the pool and amenities are adequate. The negatives - it is an island so you are reliant on the Ferry to the mainland. This only arrived a handful of times per day. If you miss the last one you are stuck. Sunday is a no go as only arrives maybe 3 times a day. Though only 5 euros for a one-way ticket. The hotel is all inclusive however if you have been to Mexico this is not...

"The hotel is situated on large grounds among other hotels, trees and paths, some stores and restaurants in a setting that makes you feel you are in a village. However, the hotel is luxurious and very close the Mediterranean beach. I was there for a conference. I highly recommend it!"
