"The resort has a beach front, and an extra treat was access (20 minutes by motorcycle) to their mountain top swimming pool that offered a great view of the ocean and hillside. "The food at the restaurant/bar was very good and very reasonably priced. The young ladies working at the resto bar were very nice. The room was clean and the shower was almost hot. The grounds are very pleasing to the eye and makes you feel like you're in a Philippines forest. The intermediate beach is good but the beach near the water is not useable. There is a gigantic pile of seaweed up and down the beach. After a day or two you can smell it. They charged 800peso to pick you up from the sea...

"So - overall my stay @ CP was very good - owners/staff Vincent/Jean & fam were great - attentive & attempted to assist wi requests, inquiries, etc. The room was clean, although some minor issue with the shower & the odd time of power/internet going out - hey, it happens in PI. IT was nice to have the breakfast I chose & though their cook was out on holiday, Jean filled in quite well. V/J were interested in improving their facility upon suggesting an improvement/upgrade or 2. I did have one...
