"The hotel is well kept, always clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, but I wish it was more consistent. I think in their desire to give people variety, they take some things off the menu and add new ones, so when you find something you really like, it might not be there the next day. The mini arepas by the pool area were our absolute favorite, and the lady making them was super nice!
The location of the hotel is great, you are only a10-11 minute cab ride of the walled city, behind the hotel there are nice restaurants and souvenir shops. Next to the hotel there's a small mall whit a pharmacy and a dollar city, which is very useful if you want to buy a beach ball, and snacks. There's also a good empanda kiosk.
The staff of the hotel is incredibly nice. However, I don't know if it was the front desk or the person in charge of actually bringing things up to the room, but anytime we called for something like ice, it took a good 40 minutes.
The pool is big, the area is roomy, and i loved that there's no card system to get towels. You just take them and bring them back when you're done. Drinks by the pool are well served.
My only complaint is that the one night my kids went down to eat dinner, they order food, which was good and reasonably priced (you know for a hotel), but they ordered water which wasn't listed on the menu, and it turned out to be $10 dollars per small bottle.
