"The staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate. The location to the beach and rooftop views are remarkable! Good breakfast, a mototaxi or 10 minute walk to town, and brand new very comfortable king size bed. Being a recently opened hotel of course there’s some kinks to work out. I would’ve kept this from the review had I not felt gaslighted when I brought up the construction noise across the street and the high chlorine in the water when showering. "We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. "
