Such a beautiful location, and close to most everything. It’s really nice having a grocery store across the street. Everyone I have had interactions with has been wonderful, they are friendly and very helpful. I visit Durango regularly and always stay here.

Historic Strater Hotel
2 nice places to listen to music and eat a reasonably priced meal. The steakhouse is excellent food, but quite pricey. For those that want that, it's fine.

The General Palmer Hotel
We had a nice trip overall, but to give our opinion my wife and I would rate this hotel at a solid 7.8 While it is a nice nostalgic old hotel there were a few things we were not thrilled about. Durango Lodge
There is no tv available at this hotel. The staff acts like it is the fault of the provider, but not surprisingly, no one ever came to work on the service. It would be better if they did not lie about the available amenities.
