"It is a beautiful villa that will be worthy of many of your photos. But travelers should be aware that the open living space can become uncomfortably cold at Batu's high elevations. In addition, the large number of mosques nearby can shatter any ideas of a peaceful retreat, especially on Friday's when the speakers will be going all day. "Hotel Tugu in Malang is not a hotel for me, it’s a cultural experience, everytime I’m in Indonesia I only fly to Malang to have the opportunity of staying in this lovely and cozy property which I call my second home, (restaurant it’s an incredibly sensory overload journey) reception staff always give me the best tips to enjoy attractions around as I love hiking and volcanos "

"We booked a room for 4 people on Expedia which had good reviews and a high rating, but when we arrived it was a 12 bedded dorm which we would not have booked. We emailed the property for clarification but we did not get a response.We feel we were not given what we asked for. On the website it stated that there was a 4 bedded room available but not a 3 bedded room or 2 bedded room. So we felt there were only 4 beds in a room. Could you explain how this has happened? It was noisy and very dirty and a terrible experience. We would like a full refund from you and ask you to review the rating you currently have on the hostel."
