"I have paid in full upfront through Expedia, yet the hotel still charged me on my credit card. This has been a two-day ordeal, with numerous hours spent in communication with Expedia, who assured me that my refund would be processed within 5 to 10 days. This is not a minor sum, and I am incurring high interest daily. I am profoundly dissatisfied with this situation."

"Beautiful decor, great location! Just too bad that service was so so, it felt like the employees were not happy to be there…. They have to assume bar service themselves! Overall the place feels off, but it’s tolerable, although a bit pricey!"

"Hotel is ok, needs to keep up with availability of towels for the pool, breakfast is available at a cost, food was not even warm (eggs, sausages, etc) and very limited choices. Other hotels where breakfast is included have way better choices. It is well located. Would return but with much lower expectations."

"The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was better then expected. All in all we had a good stay and will return in the future. Only bad thing was that I paid more through Expedia in I could've at the front desk."

"As of April 24, this hotel is undergoing major renovations. I was fortunate to stay in a newly renovated room. It was very nice. Beautiful new furniture. Lovely headboard with great lighting. The new windows are incredibly sound proof. If I have the opportunity to stay in Laval again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"Breakfast menu was ok, room was beautiful - lots of space, heated bathroom floor, full size shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap. Room was warm enough (still a cool spring in Montreal). The staff was very professional and friendly."
