"Beautiful property. You feel like you're away from the busy city. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Sargassum can be an issue but they cleared the beach quickly and often. No fishy smell compared to other resorts. Tropical Al's had delicious drinks. We didnt sit down to eat at Pineapples but got take out to eat on the beach. Food was great. We would definitely book there again. "

"Located right in the town.. Close proximity to many restaurants and party spots. Cheffy is the host and he is very helpful. He recommended spots for me to visit and was very attentive whenever he was needed. You can also drive to Secret Beach from here and its about 40mins by golf cart but I recommend the drive because its very scenic and you get to see the island.. I'd definitely recommend here for the price and the location and knowing you can get assistance from Cheffy."

"Aruna Resort & Villas is a beautiful place to stay if you’re visiting San Pedro. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating and cater to your every wish from the front office of Rose and Suzy, to the wait staff and boat captains. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the boat to come and pick us up to take us to San Pedro or back to the resort. The resort is beautifully landscaped. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the views are wonderful. Truly a vacation to remember. "

"Unfortunately, the major complaint was the noise coming from the kitchen area very late at night. It started upon arrival, but we did not know at the time where the noise was coming from or what it was. It sounded like someone moving furniture and metal dropping to the floors, etc. In additional loud voices. It reached a peak on Saturday, April 25 going into Sunday morning at 1am. "Our room was clean, but some of the common areas were a little "dusty" - probably typical for San Pedro as most streets are not paved and foot traffic drags in some dirt. Large kitchen & dining areas available - perfect for large group to gather. Swimming pool was a nice addition, however some of the lounge chairs needed repair - missing umbrellas on the pool side tables. Staff was friendly and shuttle to the airport was much appreciated.
