"We were disappointed with our stay. The room was quite small, and the room rate was too expensive for the quality provided.
The double bed was excessively soft, feeling almost like a water bed, and it should be replaced. In addition, the shower head was not properly secured—the screw was loose, causing water to leak sideways throughout every shower.
While the complimentary breakfast was acceptable, the free dinner was comparable to canteen food in both quality and atmosphere.

"The place is beautiful and staff very helpful and friendly. We happened to be there the same weekend as a huge wedding and despite the extra business everything flowed perfectly. Plenty of space and variety at breakfast too.

"The upside was that the hotel was located near the fish market and was conveniently near the metro station. Our room needed some updates as the paint was peeling off the ceiling. The carpet seemed dirty. The beds -2 singles that we pushed together - had thin little mattresses on them. But the down comforters were warm. The attached restaurant had the same issue with needing repairs on the ceiling and the hand rail had come loose from the wall. Wouldn’t highly recommend this hotel."

"We booked this as part of a longer stay in Norway. We were dissatisfied with the property for numerous reasons but primarily because the description fell far short of the reality.
We were looking for a one bedroom apartment and the description clearly states this had one bedroom and a sitting area. In fact, what we got was a sofa bed in the corner of the main - and only room. To sit comfortably would have required dismantling and re-making the bed every day in order to have a comfortable place...

"Well located about a 20 min easy walk from the train station, and a short walk into the city centre. The room was comfortable. We were on the 7th floor. Of the two elevators only one went to 7, only an issue when taking bags up ….. first world problems!
Definitely would stay here again. Fred at the front desk was friendly and offered good meal suggestions."

Note - this is similar to a hostel … but no lounge area or staff. It is simply a hall with bedroom doors, 2 bathrooms, 1 shower and laundry. So no place to connect or sit outside of your bedroom. No staff for questions or security.
The small room is simple - bed and nightstand and small high window . Linens fresh …
Also note - it’s a five storey old building with winding stairs and no elevator - so not ideal for anyone...
