This was not made clear to us at any point prior to our check in via email or alternative communication. "Location location location! Absolutely fabulous location walking distance to everything you would want to see in Bergen! Great food and cafes nearby too, There are no staff as this is a self check in hotel and they send you the instructions beforehand- easy to follow. The rooms are very basic and super tiny. But for short stay you can make do. 7 minutes walk to the train that takes you to the airport. 10 minutes walk to the bus station. 6 minutes walk to the iconic unesco picture stop of Bergen....

"Super convenient location, 2 minutes walk to fish market and floyen. Great breakfast. Had a junior suite which has a harbor view. Room is spacious and clean. Only issue is bathtub drain water very slow."

"The Thon Bristol Bergen was in a wonderful location. It was in the city centre near the Light Rail, the train station, and the wharf. The hotel was near many restaurants. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were so professional, friendly, and helpful. Many beautiful stores were so close but it was a holiday and they were all closed."

"We chose this hotel because of an early morning flight and it’s easy & quick to get to the terminal. Even though all of Norway was experiencing a hospitality strike, the room was clean and the front desk helpful. Since their restaurant was closed, they had some snacks at the front desk and a light breakfast available. Kudos to the management!"
