"At 2am the smoke detector in the room began chirping and there was no one there to fix it. While they gave us another room to sleep in it was very disruptive. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:00 and at 8:30 most of the food was not stocked. Just overall not a great experience."

"I would stay somewhere else in Bloomington. This hotel isn’t in the nicer part of town and when we returned to the hotel around 11pm after a wedding, 2 homeless people were hanging around in the parking lot. The room was clean not well maintained. The walls were different shades of yellow, various stains on the walls, the shower leaked all over the floor, the hallway carpet was coming apart at the seams, the pool was not working (or even filled). "We were in town for family weekend at ISU so the location was perfect. Great breakfast and helpful and friendly staff. Was disappointed our TV did not work and got no answer at the desk when we tried to call for service. The shower needed new caulking and not the greatest showerhead. The toilet was super low to the floor. Perhaps a handicapped room would have a taller one? Bed was comfortable. Would stay again despite the few issues we experienced."

"There was no one working when we arrived to check in. Though it was late at night/early morning we spent 20 minutes hitting the buzzer and calling there repeatedly. Finally the "manager" came flying into the parking in his car and came inside. Needless to say that alone was a bad experience.
