"This place is amazing! It has plenty of character and is not a cookie cutter hotel by any means. The room had an incredible hydrowall shower, exposed brick wall, beautifully elegant lighting fixture over the bed, and a very comfy mattress.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, the location was great if you're in town to catch a Reds game, plenty of places to eat within walking distance (safe to walk around after the ballpark crowd has cleared out). Definitely worth the stay and I'll be back...

"We stayed for two nights to go to a wedding. The day of check-in it was a madhouse with all of the guests and only two employees working the desk. The staff wanted me to take a lesser room because it was available, but I’d already paid for a deluxe room. They were quick to turn around the room for us to get in. "Eclectic and quirky design elements here and there, in alignment with the hotel also sharing space with an art gallery/museum. My room was impeccable: well-laid out, spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner at the bar at Metropole was delightful, as was breakfast in the main room the next day. Very conveniently located, too! My only complaint was that the coffeemaker or phone in my room did not work, and despite three attempts to get that sorted it out, it wasn't taken care of. More a situation...

"Very pretty corner hotel, great location. We stayed in the King room with the sofa bed. Room looks a little bigger in the Expedia images, but still plenty big for two people. I like that I can connect my YouTube, Netflix etc to the tv. Some hotels don’t offer that still?
Room was updated with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker iron/board, can’t remember if I saw a safe in the closet but I didn’t bring valuables that wouldn’t be on my person. Large windows and tv.

"Perfect location for what we were there for, a ball game! The views were stunning! The room was perfect and well appointed!! The staff could not have been more helpful!! The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly.
Kaitlyn that checked us in went the extra mile to help us get checked in early and even came outside to help us get parked due to the street being closed due to the ballgame.
We usually stay at the Hilton chains but I will definitely look for more of the Marriott...

"We got a free upgrade to a suite. The room was great. The bathroom not so much. You have to enter the shower to turn it on. The lights were very dim making it hard to apply makeup. The water pressure was dismal. The overall stay was great. The hotel is going through renovations but still looked great."
