"The property was/is being refurbished and the registration and front desk are completely closed. There was no clear signage telling us where to go to check in. We circled the building 3 times then parked and called the front desk. Got put on permahold but eventually got told where to go to check in. Then the check in process was painfully slow although the staff were very kind and doing best they could. "I love the quiet location! It's 2 blocks to the beach, the rooms are cozy. I had a kitchenette. The kitchen was stocked with 100 plates 2 spoons 2 forks, pots pans and 1 bowl, 1 glass 1 wine glass. Bring your own aluminum foil, paper towels, they provide dish soap and there is a small working dishwasher. You need to let the desk know for house keeping. "We enjoyed our stay but there were a couple things I thought could be better. Our room had a strange musty smell to it. I tried to make coffee and realized that the coffee pot was cracked. Luckily, they have tea packets in the rooms so I had that instead. I wanted a Mountain View room but my balcony view was the back of the large kids slide instead with fencing. "This is one of the worst experiences I’ve had lately staying with hotels. Me and my family were treated poorly staff did not care about our needs due to booking through a third party. We arrived around 6pm and greeted by Amy. After being in our room for two hours I detected ants in the bathroom and a spider on the wall of the room.
