However once inside and in my room I was very pleased with the cleanliness, the quality as there were no scuffs or any damage from general usage. "This hotel is my family's favorite place to stay when we come to Rockford. The staff has always been incredible, friendly, and professional. The rooms are different from any other hotel we've stayed in. We always stay in the suites and my wife and I sleep upstairs and our son sleeps downstairs. The amount of charm and uniqueness is what will always bring us back. The pool is smaller but there is a pool. Same with the gym but these aren't things that are too important for us. "

"We had originally booked a 2 queen bed room with a roll-in accessible shower. When we checked I. We were told that the room should not have been allowed to be booked because that shower was broken. We have a son in a wheelchair so this was very inconvenient. They gave us a different room with a step in shower but they didn't even have a shower chair. The room was clean, but not very wheelchair friendly."

"Simply the BEST stay! Tony and Beth are the kindest hosts! The space is cozy and intimate; perfect for special occasions. My husband and I have had the privilege of staying here 3 times, and this will always be one of our favorite spots for a getaway! We highly recommend this gem! "

"Pool was okay, it was a bit dirty. The kids wished there was something more to do in it. The breakfast wasnt good, bread was stale onlything ok to really have was yogurt and waffles. Also stunk like weed.. seems like someome tried covering up the smells with frebreeze. "

"Sent to a room that hadnt been cleaned & looked like the last guest was still occupying it! Requested a different room but was already creeped out so I checked out next morning!"

"Stayed here about 4 times over the past 9 months. Always clean and comfortable. For simplicity that is the cheapest but still very comfy and clean I'll come back again soon. They offer a free continental breakfast, but I have yet to check it out. I stay because they are almost half the cost of Holiday Inn and for me just as comfy. "

"When booking this room I had specifically asked if there was a hot tub and they had said yes but there is not one. Also had asked if they do rides to the casino also said yes but they don’t. Waited in line for a long time on checking into hotel, need more then one person during “peak hours” otherwise it was good. "
