"Everything was good but not as good as the last time we stayed here a few years ago."

"I paid for two nights and checked out after the first to move across the street to the Holiday Inn. Not worth the discount if you can afford to stay elsewhere. Very friendly staff. Very dirty room. The arm chair looked like it had been sitting outside for sometime and was extremely dirty. The carpets were filthy and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been mopped for months. Mold on the shower curtain. Stains all over the walls. Dust on everything. There were no bugs and the beds were made nice...

"The husband and wife that own it were very friendly, didn't bother you, but were available if you needed them. The breakfast was fenomenal. Check in and out was easy. The house was beautiful and the decor was relevant to the period of the home. I would highly recommend staying."

"I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was so kind and helpful, I appreciate how they always checked in with me about it it anything I may need. The hotel is squeaky clean inside and out. The landscaping is gorgeous and well thought out. The bed was so very comfortable, and provided me the rest I really needed. The location is excellent, it was easy to go anywhere from this hotel, so close to Grandfather Mountain, Tennessee and all the downtown Boone activities. I will stay there next time I...

The buffet set up is very odd too and makes it hard to get to the food- especially if other people are in the small area at the same time."

"We waited more than 15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Then once we got to our room, we saw that we had toilet paper that had been wet and thrown on our smoke alarm. We reported it,but were told that they did not have a ladder to remove it. Desk clerk said housekeeping would be in the next morning but it never happened. Breakfast was mediocre."
