Walking in the hotel will make you feel like you've been transported to the U.S. in the 1980s ish. The hotel is quite liminal, backroomsy (especially in the downstairs bathroom and elevator lobbies). "Overall the property is well maintained. The bathrooms could use some rehabbing as my sink faucet was a bit jiggly and the tub could have used a true deep clean. Not over the top finishes but clean. No laundry on site. Pool was nice, though there were only two lay down lounge chairs which were claimed when I went. The area is close to the convention centers and Disney. "When we checked in, they refused to split the bill between 2 of us because he didn’t want to pay another fee. I had asked for a first floor room because of my COPD, but they gave us a 2nd floor one. Our first room had hair on the sheets, and when we lifted the bottom sheet, there were crumbled leaves on the mattress pad. They didn’t give us enough towels and we had to chase someone down to get some. I absolutely would not stay there again."
