"The rooms are very old and dated. My particular room had two single beds. There was hair on the pillow case on one bed, there was what looked to be a exposed live wire hanging off the back of the toilet. Overall it was clean enough if you really needed somewhere to stay and the price somewhat reflects what to expect. Photos online do need to be updated. Staff were excellent and friendly."

"I loved this hotel. It has a shuttle from the Kawaguchicko Station. It was so convenient the restaurants and not far from the lake. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious!"

"Quite old hotel but charming, with nice views. We stayed in a tatami room and the futon beds were very comfortable! We also benefited from the free shuttle service of the hotel to Kawaguchiko station. Only downside might be the location as there isn’t much around especially at night.Shoutout to the kind, senior gentleman (which I believe was the owner) for helping us contact JR East regarding our lost phone and being so helpful in finding it out. Massive thank you!"

"The hotel was a bit difficult to find and access at first, but once inside, it was very clean, spacious, and located in a nice area. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was on point. However, the outdoor onsen didn’t appear very clean, so I didn’t use it. The biggest disappointment was the view of Mount Fuji. I booked this hotel expecting an unobstructed view based on the photos, but the view was restricted and not as advertised. Overall, it’s a decent and very clean hotel with great staff, but the lack of the promised Mount Fuji view was a letdown."
