"Everything was just amazing. Laurie is a fantastic host and the attention to detail is just amazing. Little flowers everywhere and the breakfasts where different every day but off the scale good. It rained almost the entire time but still it was so beautiful and we had a fan on the patio and a nice couch. Wonderful all around"

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!"

"Excellent staff, very helpful and nice, hotel is overpriced, paid almost $100 for 4 drinks, no big deal but be careful, after 10 pm the whole thing is closed so they can't help you with anything that you would want, not a drink not anything. you would have to go to the nearest store. The room i was at was next to their kitchen or office or something and you could hear everything, their talking, their steps, very annoying, overall if you use the hotel just to sleep like i did its not bad at all....

"We enjoyed our four nights here! The staff was so helpful and quick to respond. The room was a little small, but the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was great and there was plenty of hot water. It's a very short walk to the beach, and the beach was gorgeous! We will be back!"

"The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. Both restaurants on the property were great - we especially loved the cocktails and ceviche at Spice House. We stayed in a two-story family villa. "What an amazing place. We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was slightly secluded, which gave it a nice feel. Definitely jungle vibes without having to actually be in the jungle. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. There were even some chairs outside on the deck, which we sat in while it was raining. Very calming. Breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful also. This was a pleasant reminder of how simple and peaceful life can be. We would definitely recommend this place to...

"We had a wonderful stay. Very relaxed environment in the thick of the jungle. It was extremely easy to schedule a Tuk Tuk or ride their bikes for the day so we were happy to be off the main road. Even though there is not a pool at Moabi, many places in the area have a day-pass so not a big deal. Hosts were very hospitable. We would stay again."

"The breakfast is so good, take advantage of it. Bottle Water is expensive all over the area so I understand not getting constant free water. Take the water pitcher from your room down to the restaurant or bar and they will fill it for you with filtered water."

"Lots of mosquitoes, bugs and lizards inside the room. The walls are not sealed and have half inch gaps in the doors, and all walls with no screen doors downstairs. There were tons of mosquitoes that went through these cracks with the lizatds and bugs. There were cisterns right outside the front door buzzing with hundreds of mosquitoes that easily got inside.
