"Serena & Paola were very welcoming, the friendliest host and staff. We got help with our suitcases upon arrival. Casa Mamma Elvira exceeded our expectations! The unit was huge and beautifully decorated with lots of storage space, great shower and a lovely sitting area. Breakfast had a good assortment of items. Location was perfect for discovering the gems of Lecce. Would highly recommend Casa Mamma Elvira."

"A very impressive hotel in the old town of Lecce. Very helpful staff. We had a lovely room on two floors, which meant a trip downstairs during the night to use the loo. Maybe something to bear in mind. Also the air conditioning could not really cope with the size of the room, but maybe blame the recurrent heatwaves for that. We had a ‘cave’ like pool as well; sadly the jacuzzi side of it did not work. We were only there one night so did not feel it worth bringing up with the staff."

"Visited for 4 days. Couple. The receptionist Mr Daniel was absolutely excellent. He was Patient, humble, informative, courteous and very helpful. Room was very good and efficient. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff there were marvelous! Great experience. Would stay again !"

The staff was the best part of my experience, everyone from the owner to reception to restaurant personnel were so warm and welcoming and helped me with any request. "From the start Aldo was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were celebrating our 30th Wedding anniversary and we were allocated the Glamour Delux Room. This was absolutely amazing. We met Elizabet at breakfast who was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Overall, very clean , cosy and truly Glamourous. We hope to be back. This was so central to the old town which added to its charm."

"Amazing location if you want to explore Lecce, the rooms are spacious, very modern and clean, and I can't praise the staff enough - so kind, and the breakfasts were perfect to start our day. The one downside, and it isn't a small one - the parking in Lecce is really difficult especially during busier times of the day/week, and because of the ZTL you have to carry your luggage from outside the historic center to the building, and up about three flights of stairs. "We stayed at the Patria Palace hotel last week before heading out on a 6 day biking tip. I want to give this hotel a 5* rating and expected to since it’s in the Small Hotel of the World brand, a beautiful hotel and in a great location in Lecce, but just can’t.
