"5 minute walk from the historical İzmir elevator, this was a late find and I wasn't sure if I could park there. They practically had a free valet parking. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and I loved the fact that bedroom was somewhat separated from the sitting/TV area."

"Geothermal pool was a welcome addition. Breakfasts has many choices and food wad goo. Very classy. I would have preferred being closer to Izmir city, but transportation in and out of town was reasonable. Staff were very helpful with requests"

"I chose this for my 1st night in Turkey because of the thermal spa facilities. The pools saunas and jacuzzis were very nice although there is a surcharge to use them. My room was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was huge and a great introduction to Turkish breakfast."

"I had an excellent stay at Alican Hotel in Izmir. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The room, lobby, and kitchen were all spotless and beautifully maintained, everything looked fresh and clean. I slept very well and felt completely comfortable during my stay. The hotel is also very affordable for the quality you get. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Izmir!"

"This was definitely not a four star hotel, I have no idea how the class this a four star. I genuinely do not even know where to start. I travel a lot at least once a week and I travel across the world. I’ve never encountered such a horrible room in my entire life. I’ve stayed at two star hotels which is way better than this. This is a big scam please stay away. The bathroom stunk so badly, The room stunk off smoke and I guess somebody was smoking before me and it has not been cleaned at all....

"The place was in a smelly spot, the name of the hotel is Grand hotel because the owner did not change it yet. The facility was not clean and smells like cocking. The room was not clean and the toilet had yellow stains all over the place. Plus, the furniture was not safe. "
