"The facility itself is beautiful with an interesting history. The rooms were pleasant and the Bar / Lounge staff were very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was adequate, but the waiting staff were really accomodating. I recommend this place highly!"

"The guy at the front desk was very rude. Seemed annoyed every time we talked to him. Made it very clear that we were not members and treated as such . We were there for an event that got rescheduled because of the weather. When we spoke to him about our options he would get really short with us and say he can’t control the weather. Pretty much told us that we were not members and that we used Expedia, and acted like he wanted us to figure it out with Expedia. All we were asking about was a late...

"While I enjoyed the hotel and the staff were extremely warm and helpful, they facility is a little tired. The location was ideal. That being said, the stay was not worth the cost. Great one time adventure."

"This place would not be to everyone's taste. It is not a regular corporate-type hotel and it looks a bit sketchy from the outside. A neighboring building is boarded up. The upstairs is a maze of tiny rooms. Shower down the hall. But the staff are friendly and helpful. It's in an interesting neighborhood one block from busy Delaware Ave and set among wonderful old mansions. My room was tiny but comfortable and quiet. If I return to Buffalo I will certainly stay here again."

Breakfast had a great variety of choices and the area was clean and food quickly refilled. I travel a lot and I highly recommend!"
