"We stayed here during the heat wave in June because the hotel had AC and a pool. The room was small, but nice and cool. The pool needs maintenance, but was a nice respite from the heat. Overall a nice property and good price. Location is close to the confluence museum, but not much else. We took the tram and metro to get to the main part of the city."

But for the price point the bathroom and room amenities were disappointing (no coffee maker, no mini fridge, bathroom had one of those tubs with no glass or curtain so water got everywhere when you showered). "The property is at a great location for the middle of Lyon. Great access to cafe's, bars, and shopping. Quick walk across the Saone to Old Lyon. Restaurant located on site was very nice, we had the buffet. We were also able to store luggage and even use the bathroom as we walked around after checkout. Highly recommend."

"The hotel is located just behind the train station in Lyon’s 2nd arrondissement. The building itself is beautiful, elegant, and full of historic charm. While some parts of the interior décor feel a bit dated, the beds are modern and extremely comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep. The hotel was clean and well maintained.
