"The hotel location is fine, but anywhere in Christchurch city will be close to everything there. I stayed in a 'club room' which was very ordinary and in need of some improvement. Worst of all was the club lounge - terrible location and atmosphere, and a complete waste of money unless you're there only for the free evening drinks. "Great location in the city centre. Close to everything. The lady on reception was very helpful and accommodating with all of our many questions. The cleaning staff were also very nice. The rooms are very clean, a good size with a comfortable bed. We really didn’t have much time to enjoy the facilities but we did check out the rooftop bar. Very nice. Since we were leaving early in the morning before the breakfast opened, the hotel delivered a cold boxed meal to us the night before. Highly...

"Good location. Room consistent of absolute basics. Slightly dated decor with average upkeep. Feel as though even for price you could do better. Breakfast and coffee was surprisingly good all things considered and staff were overall helpful."

"In the middle of the nite there are lots of police car sirens, some drunks talk loudly, and the worst was a couple of drunks fighting loudly and involve police. It was weekend nite though.."

"I stayed on the bottom floor. My room was nice, recently updated, great bed and bathroom. But unfortunately I could hear a lot of noise from upstairs (water in the pipes, movement etc) as well as street noise which made it difficult to go to sleep. I recommend asking for a room on the top floor. Be aware there is limited on site parking. There is street parking but there are time limits during the week."
