"I was unable to stay at the property... no one was on-site or around to check me in and/or provide directions. I walked around the property, rang doorbells, and called by phone, but unfortunately received no response. As a result, I arrived at my appointment in the area—the very reason I booked a stay there—without being able to shower or change my clothes. I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night... "Just pretty ‘down’ - entrance area smelled, the breakfast was awful (I turned on my heals and went to BUY coffee), they gave away my friend’s room and made up a bunch of excuses. I don’t think there was even an elevator? The sheets were a weird fabric… perhaps some unhomed people Living there? No chance I will make this mistake again."

"I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"No ice machine, freezer but no ice cube trays; spider in bathroom (looked like a brown recluse, yes I checked the internet)' bedspread had stain; no hair dryer; don't think floor was mopped in a very long time; will never stay at a Red Roof again!"

"Spacious, nice room. The negatives : old dirty tissue and a half-full soda bottle on the window ledge. A very noisy A/C unit. That seems to be the weakness of most North American hotels. Pleasant and helpful staff. Satisfactory breakfast choices."
