"As a business traveler, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed, even though I did not get time to use the gym and pool. It is well-located (across the street from the beach) so that you can walk to the boardwalk and some really good restaurants (Big up Salt Cafe for crusted fish, Tapas for the view, Coco's breakfast if you want to feel like you are on vacation) or towards Bridgetown - 2.5 kms - if you are not easily frightened by cars zipping by while sidewalks disappear and reappear....

"Breakfast buffet was okay. Staff was outstanding all around. Room was clean and looked recently renovated. I was disappointed to see some trash by the pool and in the beach. Usually when we travel staff is always walking around cleaning. That wasn’t the case here. "

"The stay was ok. They just didn’t tell us about any services that the hotel offered, when we checked in. They need to work on dealing with people of color. We felt like second class guests. We were the only black people in the hotel. We booked four rooms."

"Great hotel would highly recommend it out of five stars. It gets 4 1/2 because it has two elevators but only one was working the whole time we were here, good thing it wasn’t crowded so you’re not waiting for the elevators. The other downside is they had only one restaurant for Saturday night makes no sense. How do you have a Saturday night and you only have one restaurant for the whole resort again they did well crowd control wise, but it’s a Saturday night. It should not be only one...

"The location and amenities of the Plum Tree make this place a special and amazing place to experience Barbados. I love the location and I love the homey feel of the units. I have stayed there several times and have recommended it to others. I feel peaceful there. The pool area is wonderful."

"We stayed down he way at another very expensive hotel and then moved here . This one was better in every way except the pool was very small and nobody used it. Resort staff was wonderful. Very attentive and helpful. Clean rooms, great beds and beautiful beach access and views. I would for sure come back here. Right outside you can walk to local places to shop, eat and drink. Just book it, it’s fantastic."

"First the good… The properly is right off the beach which was lovely and the staff was kind and very professional. The staff helped make our trip a four star rather than a three star experience. Now the not so good… The food was just ok. There was also no food for snacking available in between scheduled mealtimes. And, the unacceptable.., During our stay we had a fire alarm go off at 4 am two nights in a row which immediately woke us up out of our sleep. The alarms lasted a few minutes...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Waves resort and would definitely recommend it. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. There was a good variety of food options, and everything we tried was enjoyable. The spa was a highlight, truly a great experience and perfect for unwinding. "Hi, I just wanted to let you know that there was a leak in the bathroom, right between the toilet and the sink. It seems like it might be coming from the room above. Also, I noticed a small roach in one of the glasses that was left for drinking water. I thought it would be best to bring both issues to your attention. Thank you."
